Mr. McCumber is a retired U.S. Air Force officer and former Cryptologic Fellow of the National Security Agency. During his military career, Mr. McCumber served in the Defense Information Systems Agency and on the Joint Staff at the Pentagon as Information Warfare Officer during the Persian Gulf War. Mr. McCumber recently served as Chair of the TechAmerica Cybersecurity Committee, and was recently selected to co-chair the NICE Working Group on Training & Certifications. For eight years, he was a Professorial Lecturer in Information Security at The George Washington University in Washington, DC, and is currently a technical editor and columnist for Security Technology Executive magazine, in addition to his role as Director of Cybersecurity Advocacy, North America for ISC2.
